RTI’s Fanthropy Running Clubs Join atlasGO

RTI

What is RTI?

Random Tuesday, Inc. (RTI) is a non-profit organization that creates global communities, harnessing the power of fandom to inspire individuals to better themselves and the world around them. Since 2015, RTI has sought to create engaged, motivated fan communities that work collectively to improve themselves and their world. As pioneers of the “fanthropy” movement as the intersection of fandom and philanthropy, RTI applies this concept to fitness through its Fanthropy Running Clubs. These are communities based on “fan domains” or “fandoms” who participate in organized “virtual running” events to inspire people to be more physically active and support non-profits focused on a variety of charitable efforts.

Why join atlasGO?

The Fanthropy Running Clubs are now a proud part of the atlasGO global community, providing an augmented fitness experience that will encourage participants to track and log their workout distances through smartphones and wearable technology. In doing so, each logged fitness session will ‘accelerate impactful change’ by raising funds for selected charitable organizations.

“RTI is eager to bring thousands of active runners and walkers to atlasGO who are motivated ambassadors of our fanthropy initiative,” says Brian Biggs, Random Tuesday, Inc. founder and CEO. “We’re a dynamic and passionate community and have tremendous respect for atlasGO as a like-minded organization promoting physical activity while benefiting charities around the world.”
