We’re so excited to announce our new virtual race challenge, The International Veterinary Outreach (IVO) Virtual Race 2020!
How does it work?
Sweaty changemakers from anywhere in the world can sign up for the race from February 1st to March 3rd and starting March 3rd. Runners will be given the challenge to complete ten miles in ten days. The benefit of the race being virtual is you can complete it however way works best. If you want to run one mile one day and nine miles the next, you can do so! If you want to start day two and finish day nine, you can also do so! You are the boss of your own race! Sounds fun, right?
The race will happen in the teroGO app, where users will be able to track their runs, share pictures, chat with other users, and even compete with others virtually!
What is IVO?
The International Veterinary Outreach (IVO) is an animal welfare advocacy organization that probes public health needs and executes sustainable veterinary services and training programs to underserved communities around the world.
IVO has partnered with the San Francisco Zoo and Snow Leopard Conservancy to provide care for the livestock in the wildlife conflict zone high in the Himalayas of Nepal, which helps reduce retaliatory killings of snow leopards in these regions.
By participating in this race, you can contribute to the reduction of retaliatory killings of snow leopards!
How do I join this virtual race?
To participate in this race, you only need to purchase a ticket and download the teroGO app. We have different prices so you can choose the one that works best for you! The more you donate, the higher the possibilities you have to win the Wildlife Goodie Package! But remember, it’s not only about winning but also making a bigger impact.
