The benefits of working with teroGO as a non-profit
Mekong Plus decided to create several challenges with teroGO to meet many athletes who have that sense of solidarity and that together, through the challenges, were going to help very poor children continue school with the help of a scholarship.
As a non-profit, Mekong Plus recommends NGOs to work with teroGo to make themselves known and because the idea is impactful. We also recommend companies to support NGOs through teroGO because it is an excellent advertisement, both useful and friendly.
Mekong Plus´ mission
Mekong Plus has a dual mission:
Mekong Plus trains and supports Khmer and Vietnamese people who are motivated and committed to community development in disadvantaged rural areas.
Mekong Plus builds and strengthens local teams to:
– target the poorest, who often do not even have 1/3 € per day per person.
– work closely with the local populations in health programs, education, small infrastructure, and reduce acute poverty.
– carry out low cost and, therefore, sustainable actions.
Although priority is given to the extremely poor, Mekong Plus aims for the whole community to participate at all levels and stages, to forge a sense of strength and solidarity.
Mekong Plus also has a mission of testimony so that the general public and the decision-makers, especially in the countries where Mekong Plus is directly operational (Belgium, Cambodia, France, Vietnam), and the countries of origin of the donors, can have a better understanding of the context of poverty and of the ways in which action is possible.
Mekong Plus is aware of its very small size; through testimony, it aims to change opinion and develop solidarity.
