From May to June 2020, over 350 Swiss Re UK employees, family, and friends completed 9,055 wellbeing activities in aid of the Going The Social Distance For Place2Be challenge. Together, they unlocked a total of £15,000 for Place2Be and helped to raise awareness for positive mental health.

The stats are impressive! 33,140 miles of outdoor exercise and 14,814 hours of activity were logged on the teroGO app. This is the equivalent of 1,264 London Marathons and amazingly more than one complete loop around the circumference of planet earth!

The community has shown an amazing team spirit through this difficult time and has proved an inspiration to many. The 972 photos shared of scenic outdoor adventures, virtual catch-ups, rainy day cake bakes, pets, crafts, cooking, gardening, and moments of mindfulness have never failed to make the participants smile, keeping them connected and proving that they are #strongertogether!

To add a fun, competitive aspect to the challenge, Swiss Re UK added a little photo contest, inviting the community to post their master chef-worthy meals, scenic sunsets, artworks, or a family fun board game selfie! Check out the winning images below for the memorable moments they captured.
